What could be the sounding of an empty page between two chapters that leads to character changes in a story?
Musical Novelette is just that, book and music together in one package.
Ranam Sugam
Ranam sugam is one such of its kind by paadhai.
A novel of 10 chapters and 10 equally complete songs. It’s a story of 5 friends (four boys and a gal) in college, their music band, their friendship, love, failures, changes and their experience of life.

I just got Ranam Sugam .. The very first thing which attracted me to get this book is its Title "Ranam Sugam" . A 2 word kaavithai.. which has lot of meaning in it and the second is the photography on the Cover Page ..
I havent read the book yet..So i guess the content aswell will impress me like its title and Cover page ..
Am right now hearing the very first song -- "Pachai Niramukul Paatha Rasaam Enoo ?"

I heared all the 10 tracks.. All are really awesome,superb and fantastic... chanceaeh ella ;))
From all the 10 tracks from the CD .. My favourite song is "Neer Yezhutha ..." it really got into nerves of every guys experience with a gal... It is simply wow.. i would rate the song with 10/10 .. For every aspect of the song..
ie..1)Music is fantastic.
2)The most interesting part of that song is the Lyrics ,that too combined with famous bit dialouges from move .
3)In particular.. "Machi..epo solrathuthaan.. Tharmathin vazvuthaani.. suthukuvum.. Kauvii.. Vellum.. VELLIYEA KAATUM " ;- ) and the last bit which i liked the most is "Machan.. oru doubt.. Eentha Kothuporatava Epadi Kandupudicherupanga..." with deep cry of a guy in back ground wow.. fantastic...
In general... i liked all the songs.. and overall i would like to give full marks to u guys..I would rate you 10 out of 10
I have heared "Neer Yezhutha " song more than 15 times.. and even i asked my friends to hear the song.. and they liked it very much at first instance..
This really shows ur success on your first album...

Usually i wont hear songs repetitively on a single streatch.
But on very rare case.. if i like the song very much ,i would hear it repetitively..with that said..recently the song which i heard continously on a streatch is "Auromale from VTV " and the next song is i sware its ur song "Neer Yezhutha " from Ranam Sugam..

I came across this book in one of my favorite book shops. The cover page and the title "Ranam sugam" drew my attention. I opened it and read this opening page that begun as "Sollitaya machan". I decided then to buy it. The title itself was so poetic and catchy. This is the first tamil book I have ever bought and read. It was just a stunning piece of work. The songs were so good and it was a magical experience. The words chosen by u guys were so perfect. Good job! I wish u guys all success.! brilliant Idea Musical Novelette!

hi machans... kalakitinga..the concept of bookisai was great..music is so fresh and pleasent..i just saw this book ranam sugam in my friend's room..still i read only that first chapter..i was totally impressed..i felt so happy.. some of the sentence like "iruttil than ammavin kai thavarivitta kuzhanthai pol avalai thedinen" was awesome.. u guys rocking ya.. ungakita innum jaasthi ethirpakrom..come on guys
